New Octavos for Treble Choirs!

Glenda E. Franklin writes a gentle melody to the traditional words of peace, “Dona Nobis Pacem.” The simple ABA form is easy to learn, with a unison A section and a contrasting B section in two parts. This anthem is excellent for developing choirs. The optional flute adds a graceful layer to the melody.

Kolyada (“caroling” in Ukrainian) is a Slavic tradition meant to welcome the gradual return of the sun following the long dark days of winter. It is celebrated by neighbors who visit each other, singing and sharing treats.

This traditional Slavic winter song “banishes the winter cold” with its simple melody and charming accompaniment.
